October is when an annual cPanel invoice stops being a rumor and starts looking like a card draft. If you turned on yearly billing in the cPanel Store, Solo is $329.49 a year, Admin is $395.49, and Pro is $593.49. Premier never went annual. It stays at $69.99 every month, which is $839.88 if twelve […]

You just ordered a cheap OVH Eco, Kimsufi, or SoYouStart box because the metal is $35–$60 a month. Then the panel quote lands: official cPanel Premier Metal is $69.99/month because Solo, Admin, and Pro are Cloud-only. The hardware is no longer the expensive line. The seat is. That inversion kills small dedicated fleets. A $45

October is when finance teams open the remaining 2026 budget and ask a blunt question: why is the control panel still the largest line item on every VPS? If you are still paying the public Store path — Solo at $29.99, Admin at $35.99, Pro at $53.99, Premier Metal at $69.99 — leftover budget is

A $6 DigitalOcean droplet is a fine place to start a hosting book — until the control panel invoice shows up. Official cPanel Pro on the public Store lists at $53.99/month for Cloud. That is not a rounding error on a $6–$24 droplet. It is the entire hardware bill, several times over. If you sell

A dentist calls the shop that already fixes their PCs and asks a simple question: “Can you host our website too?” You quote a small monthly fee, then open the cPanel Store. Solo is $29.99 for one account. Admin is $35.99. Pro is $53.99 for up to 30 accounts. Premier is $69.99, and extra accounts

Namecheap is a fine place to buy a domain. It is a painful place to run a hosting business. Stellar and Stellar Plus look cheap on the first invoice, then the renewal jumps, EasyWP caps what you can actually sell, and you still do not own WHM. If you already resell those seats — or

You spun up an AWS Lightsail instance or an EC2 t3 box because the hardware bill looked sane. Then you opened the public cPanel Store. Cloud Pro lists at $53.99/month. Premier Metal hits $69.99. On a $12–$24 Lightsail plan, the panel seat is the product. That inversion is why hosts keep asking for a cheap

You finally booked the better network. The new VPS or dedicated box is online, DNS TTL is counted down, and mail is staged to move. Then the license question lands in the same afternoon: the cPanel seat you already pay for is tied to the old public IP. The store path many hosts still see

October is when a seasonal host opens WHM and sees the roster thin out. Summer rental sites stopped taking bookings. The tax office you host will not need twenty-five client portals until January. The holiday brand is between catalogs, and last year’s brochure account is the busiest thing left on the box. Revenue stepped down.

The server is already live. The client signed yesterday, the contract says net-30, and their first payment is not due until early next month. The panel invoice does not wait. On the public cPanel Store list for 2026 (effective December 16, 2025), Solo Cloud is $29.99 today for one account. Five accounts jump to Admin
